BCGOP Endorses James Gallagher for Congress, D1
It was a packed room for the Butte County GOP Central Committee, where members voted unanimously to endorse James Gallagher to run in a special election for Congress to fill the seat left vacant by our dear friend, the late Honorable Congressman Doug LaMalfa . Doug LaMalfa served our country for 13 years in Congress, as well as a combination of 8 years in both the Assembly and Senate. He meant so much to our community—not only as a member of United States Congress, but as a trusted friend and a tireless advocate for the constituents of the North State. We continue to keep our thoughts and prayers with the LaMalfa family, and we are honored to stand alongside them during this profoundly difficult time. We believe there is no one better suited to carry forward Doug’s legacy of service, integrity, and dedication to this region than Assemblyman James Gallagher.
