The Butte County Republican Party welcomed Teri DuBose as the new Chair of the Central Committee in January, 2025.  

Teri DuBose is a lifelong resident of Chico,California, raised in a walnut farming family that instilled a strong work ethic from a young age. With a diverse background spanning aviation, family business operations, and public service, she has built an extensive record of civic involvement and community leadership.

Her career includes working as a District Representative for Congressman Doug LaMalfa, founding community revitalization initiatives like “Lunch in the Plaza”, and serving in various local leadership roles, including Chair of the Butte County Republican Party and President of the “Citizens for a Safe Chico” PAC.

She received Assemblyman James Gallagher’s “Woman of the Year” in 2019. Deeply committed to her region, she has also dedicated thousands of hours to local volunteer efforts, serving as a volunteer firefighter, hospital worker, homeless outreach volunteer, and mentor for recovering individuals.
